| Details | 老化に伴う骨格筋萎縮のメカニズムを明らかにするために，骨格筋内で生じる細胞死とその誘導に関わる因子を不活動，老化の実験モデルを用いて検証した。その結果，筋萎縮に伴ってプログラム細胞死であるアポトーシスが著しく増加することが確認された。特に，老化した骨格筋では，小胞体ストレスと呼ばれる細胞死のシグナルが活性化することが明らかになり，老化に伴う筋萎縮メカニズムを探る上で重要な知見をもたらすものとなった。 |
