Details | In 2007 Israel launched a surprise air strike on the Al-Kibar nuclear reactor in Syria. The reactor was clandestinely being built with the help of North Korea without the knowledge of the IAEA. Israel destroyed the reactor following it self-claimed Begin Doctorine, a counter-proliferation preemptive strike policy declared when it had destroyed Iraqi Osirak nuclear reactor. The raid was made public by the Israeli government's lifting the censorship in early 2018. The article examined the decision-making process of the bombing operation and analyze israeli silence from the perspective of strategic analysis based on game theory. |
