| Details | U.S President Donald Trump moved the American Embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv May 14, 2018. The move was distinctively pro-Israel and deviated from previous US Presidents' diplomacy. Trump's pro-Israel foreign policy was designed to strengthen support from white evangelical voters. Christian Zionists propagate a dispensationalism: apocalyptic premillennial eschatology, originated from the prophecies of ancient biblical texts including "The Book of Daniel" and "Revelation". |
