Churchill describes the US-UK special relationship somethin more than ordinary alliance. It contains cultural dimensions. Both US and Israel boast themselves as a courageous pioneer who brought civilization into the uncultivated frontier. They share liberalism and colonialism which originated from the Biblical stories such as the Exodus and the Book of Joshua. |
