概要	This is a case study involving a second language (L2) Japanese student enrolled in an International Bachelorette (IB) program in Japan. Specifically, it examines all of the syntactic errors committed in the written work of this student. The results of this study reveal data that was consistent with other studies (Bryant, 1984; Izzo, 1999; Ellis et. al. 2008) involving the written errors of Japanese L2 learners be it at an academic setting in Japan or abroad. The most significant of these errors came in article usage, word choice and verb-related errors. Based on this information, this student would benefit from a checklist sheet of his errors, as well as worksheets for him to edit and discrete item testing of areas that he is weak in.
