| 概要 | We examined the relationship between histopathological diagnosis and radiation dose in cases of cervical cancer among autopsied atomic bomb survivors preserved at the Hiroshima University Institute for Radiation Biology and Medicine, International Radiation Information Center. The frequency of squamous cell carcinoma was significantly higher in close-range exposure. Data were provided. ISSN 0369-3228 The biological effects of atomic bomb radiation—gamma rays and neutron rays—were compared using a mouse intrauterine exposure model. The differences between radiation types were compared using RBE (relative biological effectiveness) with carcinogenesis as an indicator. Neutron exposure significantly increased the incidence of liver cancer in male mice and pituitary tumors, breast cancer, liver cancer, and lung cancer in female mice. |
