概要	This study investigates the effectiveness and acceptability of the Canadian International College's three month program as it relates to writing a well constructed paragraph. There were 78 first year female college students in this study. A triangulation model consisting of three data sources (student progress, student comments and faculty comments) was employed. The results of this model reveal that even though students made some progress in writing an expository paragrpah, there were problems related to low language ability, lack of time and lack of expository writing knowledge.
