概要 | The purpose of this paper is comparing the subjective well-being of people around the age of 30 between the "employment ice age" generation and other generation. As a result of the analysis, the following results were obtained. (1) On average, there was no significant difference in subjective well-being between the "employment ice age generation" and other generation. On the other hand, depending on the quantile, there were cases where the subjective well-being of the "employment ice age generation" was significantly depressed. In addition, (2) it was found that there are differences in the quantile that pushes down subjective well-being, even within the same “employment ice age generation”. These results suggest that when comparing the welfare of generations, difference in distribution must be taken into account, and it should be considered explicitly the intra-generation heterogeneity. |
