概要	To advance the mouse genome sequencing project, a mouse saturation mutagenesis project using N-ethyl-N-nitrosourea is underway in four countries: the UK, the US, Germany, and Japan. The SHIRPA method for screening mutant mouse phenotypes was validated for mutation detection efficiency using muscular dystrophy mice. Testing should be performed at a young age; when muscular dystrophy mice are older, this method struggles to detect subtle changes.
