概要	The genus Flabelligera (family Flabelligeridae) inhabits under rocks and sandy bottoms, characterized by its gelatinous sheath and hook-shaped chaetae. In Japan, Flabelligera affinis had been regarded as the only species. However, surveys from Hokkaido to Honshu revealed the presence of at least five distinct species, which have now been described as new to science.
