概要	A mutant mouse genetically lacking the mid-region of chromosome 2 was reported to spontaneously develop adenocarcinoma in the duodenum and small intestine. The proliferation of pancreatic duct epithelium was particularly distinctive and was thought to result from haploinsufficiency of the Pax6 gene. Nitta carried out the entire process from conceiving the research idea, planning, execution, and analysis to writing the paper.
