概要	We investigated the relationship between apolipoprotein E and dementia in 12 patients with dementia who carried apolipoprotein E mutations, using both molecular pathological and clinical approaches. The e4 allele was significantly elevated, while the e3 allele was significantly reduced. This suggests involvement in the development of vascular lesions.
