概要	This study clarifies the features of the Yokohama City Governmen's bureau in charge of farmland and agriculture in Japan. Yokohama City has the highest population among the municipalities in Japan. In 2020, Japan had 11 cities with more than one million people. Among these large cities, Yokohama City enjoys a high outturn in agriculture. The Yokohama City Government assists agriculture by preserving farmland against urbanization. This study addresses why the Yokohama City Government can maintain farmland.
