概要	Mice with a deletion in the middle region of chromosome 2 develop acute leukemia. Radiation carcinogenesis experiments were conducted on mutant mice (pax6Sey3H) to clarify the relationship between radiation sensitivity, carcinogenicity, and the deleted gene. In cases where leukemia developed, the latency period was shortened. Furthermore, the frequency of acute myeloid leukemia and lymphocytic leukemia increased.
