Details | The role of photography in Toni Morrison’s works has not received the critical attention it deserves. It is obvious that Morrison has a strong interest in photography. As far back as The Black Book, she included a scrapbook of newspapers, sheets of music, advertisements, and photographs. Remember: The Journey to School Integration presents the history of school integration with photographs and captions. Also in her eighth novel, Love, photographs play a crucial thematic role. This paper aims to analyze the role of photography in Love, to show how it is strongly connected to the theme of love. |
