Title	Responding to Global Financial System Reform in the ASEAN Region

Details	Taking advantage of lessons learned from the global financial crisis originating from the subprime loan problem in the United States, global financial system reforms are currently underway to prevent such a recurrence of the financial crisis. Even in ASEAN countries where economic development is prominent in recent years, it is imperative that such financial system reforms are reformed so as not to become a source or a transit country of the financial crisis in the future. In this paper, we summarize the measures against financial regulation in each ASEAN country based on the current state of financial regulatory reform and the direction from the viewpoint of global financial system. In addition, we clarify the problems of the global financial system reform in ASEAN financial market integration, based on the characteristics of countermeasures of each ASEAN country.
