Details | This study examined whether household tasks can explain the gender gap in learning performance in sub-Saharan African. By using the Oaxaca-Blinder decomposition technique and six countries in sub-Saharan African, we tested whether there is an association between the gender gap in learning performance and gender differences in household task engagement. Our results show little evidence that the difference in household task engagement explains the gender gap in learning performance. |
