| Details | This study targeted Chinese advanced learners of Japanese to examined the effect of listening purposes on lecture listening comprehension, using the Kintch (1994)theory of text comprehension as a framework. The purpose of listening and test listening comprehension capacity weere manipulated as factors. It was investigated how the difference in listening comprehension affects the representational formation of lecture listening comprehension and whether that effect differs depending on the high-low of test listening comprehension, in the case of content comprehension and explanation expectancy. |
