Details | This paper proposes the use of reproduction, a basic translation training tool, as an instruction method for second language teaching. This method draws on findings from interpreting process research: constraints of working memory capacity and the role of non-linguistic (conceptual) representations during interpreting. The points of the method are summarized as segmentation, tagging, and working memory. |
