Details | This paper discusses the key areas in which learning, or changes in mindset about learning, were brought about on the part of first-year Japanese students through a 10-week virtual exchange program where they used Yasashii Nihongo to communicate with learners of Japanese at an American university. Discussed are qualitative findings mainly based on text analysis (using KH Coder) of the Japanese students' pre-experience class reports, daily reflective reports and post-program questionnaire. |
