| Details | This study investigated whether participants' awareness and expression of her internal experiences changed through Dohsa-hou task experiences. A one-week intervention study using the Dohsa-task was conducted with one female participant in her twenties. Through the Dohsa-task, the participant became more interested in and focused on her own internal experiences and began to describe them in more concrete terms. From the relationship between engagement in the Dohsa-task and changes in awareness of internal experiences, it was suggested that the Dohsa-task enhances self-monitoring of actions and movement control, thereby increasing orientation towards internal experiences and leading to greater awareness of them. This paper discussed Dohsa-task experiences that lead to awarenessm as well as the assistance that facilitates such experiences. |
