| Details | Using the records of the Witch-trials in the Duchy of Westphalia(unpublished) and the account of the confessor on the witch trials, we have reviewed the actual witch-trial proceedings and their jurisprudential problems by the Witch-Commissar Heinrich von Schultheiss. By contrasting actual proceedings with that he claimed, the extent to which learned jurists took the lead in witch-trials in the Duchy of Westphalia is discussed. |
