概要 | Platinum group elements, such as platinum and palladium, are widely used as catalysts, requiring analytical methods for their quantification and characterization during production, use, and recovery. Conventional methods like AAS, ICP, ICP-MS, or neutron activation are costly and time-consuming. Recently, we developed a hydrothermal flow reactor (HFIA) capable of reactions up to 400 ºC, which accelerates traditional analytical reactions for flow injection analysis. In this study, we focus on fluorescence determination of Ru(III) with 1,10-phenanthroline and absorption determination of Pt(II) and Pd(II) with PAR. Since these colorimetric reactions normally require long heating (≈2 h), we aim to develop a rapid and sensitive method using HFIA. |
