概要 | We developed a hydrothermal flow reactor capable of high-temperature reactions in sub- and supercritical water (up to 400 ℃, 50 MPa), which accelerates several reactions compared with normal conditions. However, real-time monitoring of mixtures containing multiple species remains difficult, as traditional analyses like HPLC can take hours. Microchip electrophoresis (MCE) offers high-speed, efficient, and low-volume analysis. We therefore aimed to develop a hybrid system combining the hydrothermal flow reactor with MCE for continuous, real-time reaction monitoring. Here, we report preliminary investigations on microchip design and sample injection/separation under flow conditions. |
