概要 | We investigated the stability of RNA and other biomolecules under hydrothermal conditions. Using our originally developed hydrothermal flow reactor, we analyzed their stability and reaction kinetics. Furthermore, we compared the kinetics of prebiotic formation and degradation, focusing on the formation of RNA and the interactions of nucleic acids at high temperatures. As a result, we demonstrated the possibility of RNA accumulation even in hydrothermal environments and examined this through a comparison of enzymatic and non-enzymatic reaction rates. |
