概要 The discovery of ribozymes suggests RNA’s key role in life’s origin, but the RNA world hypothesis conflicts with hydrothermal vent scenarios. To test RNA stability and reactions, we developed hydrothermal flow reactors enabling real-time, in situ spectroscopy (2 ms–200 s, 400 °C, 30 MPa) and mineral-contact simulations. Using these systems, we analyzed RNA polymerase models with templates, metal ions, and clays, and discovered an efficient elongation pathway of alanine oligopeptides, further enhanced by carbonate minerals.
