Details	文化を支える社会的学習の可能性は、人間の適応上重要な役割を果たしたとされてきたが、Rogers (1989) は単純なモデルで社会的学習の可能性はグループの平均適応度を増さないと主張している。しかし、彼のモデルで仮定されていた前提には問題がある。本研究では社会的学習の可能性が流通する情報の質を向上させ、平均適応度を上昇させることを、シミュレーションと心理学実験によって示した。
