Details	タスクを利用した指導が外国語としての英語の中間言語発達にどう影響するかを、用法依存言語学習理論の枠組みで探求した事例研究である。タスクを利用した指導を受ける1人の大学生に5回に亘って英文エッセイを書かせ、縦断的に分析した。その結果、タスクを利用した指導は、参加者の中間言語の正確性の発達に貢献したことが明らかになった。また、その影響の仕方は複雑でダイナミックなプロセスをたどることが示された。
