●1.授業の方針や授業計画と実際の授業の内容及び授業目標の達成度
As I felt not familiar enough with the background of my students, my main aim was to bring to life and make interesting for them international organizations and international development. I also wanted to encourage and press them to participate actively in class and in discussions. Each student was asked to prepare and present a 'Debriefing' for at least one session. They were also asked to make one case-study/oral presentation at the end of term, in addition to written exam. A handout with links and references was given to students prior to each class. Finally my class student assistants were indispensable for ensuring translation for and proper communication with the students.

As it became clear that English classes were difficult to follow for a majority of the students, increasingly I have expanded the amount of visual material or background material in Japanese as well.

I made myself available to students after class, during office hours and even breaks, to help with any questions they had.
